Integrate calling into iOS 10 and no previews!

Do the above, and a useful app would become a great app! Thanks for the Apple Watch integration at least, but I think a setting to disable message previews is a bit more important in an app like this!

Great service!

This service works great on my iPhone and I love that MMS and number blocking have recently been added. Best part is I have this app on my MacBook and can continue text conversations using a real keyboard!

Updating my review. All is fine just testing on iPhone 7. Had an issue but figured it out working good

Terrible

Since I switched over I got 3-4 calls a day from tele-markerters. Couldnt unsubscribe from any of them. Horrible.

This app is not dependable when it comes to receiving calls

This app is only good for texting this app dropped calls in the middle of a phone call sometimes in the middle of a conversation the other person cannot hear you and you cannot hear them you will miss a lot of calls using this app use sideline is more dependable works with your iPhone perfectly

Call does not show up on screen

When a call comes in really does not show on notification or display, typically you realize it when you see Missed call very poor poor app. This is been going on for a long time, and these people get paid every month When I call numbers there is no sound, the person cannot hear me, when the phone is picked up. The ringing on my phone is practically imperceptible, I have an I phone 6S plus. Calls going out or not completed. This is been going on for several weeks now. In the past Ive asked for credit for these issues. None has been received today. Please understand, that if this is not corrected and credit is not received this week I will be porting my number after four years of poor poor service. In the messaging folder, the list of messages that have been sent as a history should be much much longer than is, it only goes back a couple of days since this is also on software you should have an endless list of messages if you want to keep them if the user wants to delete them then he can delete them but the list should be much longer. When you call out you cant block the number, there should be an ability for the caller to be able to block the number. Unwanted unknown numbers should be, or should have the ability to be blocked from calling, you dont have an ability to do that on your system. Please develop a system where you can block an unknown caller from calling in. Would be nice to have predictive dialing, where in after you dial 4 or 5 numbers the system starts producing numbers dialed in the past

Although I do like the business features that Line2 provides, I dont understand why they havent updated their app since the release of iOS 10. This makes no sense because there is key functionality being lost with the lack of updating to their app. With iOS 10, I should no longer have to unlock my phone to answer a call. Which is really important if your using Line2 for business and paying for the service. Updating their app should be a priority especially considering the changes in iOS 10. We may consider looking for alternatives.

Inconsistent

This app is terrifyingly inconsistent. We use it for our business, and the texting is awesome!! The fact that all of us can answer is awesome. However, answering a call from a locked screen is extremely frustrating!! I have to have the app open in order to answer a call. This drains my battery quickly. Not sure why, this is not the case for my co workers. But like I said, extremely inconsistent and frustrating!! I just wish it were easier to answer a call.

Love it - use it all day long!

I use this daily for all my business calls and text messages. I have it on my mac and iphone so I am always connected.

Disappointed

Customer service is only available after you cancel. I reached out multiple times to receive no response. The only time I heard from them is when my credit card expired...not interested in a service like that!

I am extremely frustrated but the reception I get from Line2. I am looking for a different provider. I often have to hang up on clients and call them back on my Nother number because of the poor reception.

Half truths

They say they support SMS, but apparently not short SMS, like the verification texts from apple. They say they support MMS but you cant send video. Their text part of the app constantly messes up with overlapping text in the UI. Overall, Its a better app than RingTo but the service is far worse.

Skip Line2 - Burner is cheaper and has more features

line2 was my service of choice for a second line on my iPhone. Sadly they havent kept up with the market. Burner has all of the same features as Line2 and integrates with apps like Dropbox and Evernote for added functionality. Its also 1/2 the price (cheaper if you pay annually). Im dont with Line2. It was great 3 years ago, but its a little tired now.

I love everything about this app, except that sometimes it hangs up the phone when I try to answer it when the phone is locked.

Absolute Garbage! Bugs, Missed Calls, Too many problems

The positive reviews are very suspicious. 1- You will miss most calls because it either doesnt ring and goes straight to voice mailor it just beeps once unless youre in the app. Theres no option to change the tone or add vibrate either. 2-If youre on a call and your actual phone rings, Line2 call ends. 3- Recent calls is blank unless you click on something else and then go back, then you will see recent calls 4- Voicemail greeting says you have reached a line2 customer.. Really? 5- Voice to text doesnt work most of the times. 6- You cant block numbers. 7- it automatically deletes text messages after a few months. 8- cant search text messages. Also if you start a new conversation with someone you wont see the previous Conversation until you send them a message. No way I can use this app for a business. Maybe for Craigslist add or something but thats what google voice is for and its free.

Not what it used to be!!

I used this when it first came out, it was awesome. Not anymore. The phone reception is horrible. I have to hang up and call clients back from my personel line. The apl has to be open to answer a call. It use to be easy, it was seamless, now it is overly complicated and inconsistent.

Used to be Good

Not the greatest phone app, but it used to be good. There have been lots of issues within the last few months. It fails to ring half the time, I answer a call and hear nothing, it doesnt run well in the background, etc.. I tried to resolve this with the company first and give them a chance to fix things rather than blast them in a review. I called customer service with no response, emailed them next and was asked for my logs, but nothing after that. I emailed them again and this time zero reply. The only thing I like is that it gives me a separate ringtone with caller ID. This is my business line and now Im going to have to look for an alternative if these issues arent resolved soon.

Awful

There is no way to answer this line unless you have the phone unlocked and app open all day long. I dont have battery life for that. Make answering this better. I have to call everyone back and its extremely frustrating for not only myself, but the clients also.

Update = less options

The latest update got rid of search, so you could look for a specific call history. The phone now turns off unless you actually have the app open in the foreground. It accepts images but friezes when you look at them. Used to really love this app but now I need a new service. Bring back the functionality.
