Useless phone number. Dont loose your time

You get a phone number, but is useless. To get calls you have to pay for subscription. Otherwise, the caller hear your phone number cant get calls. Hushed is better. Lost of time and space on my device. Subscription is expensive if you need only a number to get calls.

Must have

A must have app and service for businesses. Recommend to anyone.

Good

I use Line2 as my main and only phone line. Most recent updates have improved a lot overall quality. Now I give 5 stars.

Great for replacing traditional phone plans!

I have a data only plan on my phone. This app has been a great replacement which still allows me to call and text.

Installed and will delete after this review! Not Free! My favorite app is TextMe. You get, in&out calls, video calls, in&out text, voice mail, local ph# in us&can plus all these features are FREE! My alternative app is Fongo, free local ph#, in&out calls however texting is not free.

Great

Works great for me. I was paying seventy a month for an extra line in Canada, not I have one for ten.

NO SUPPORT

I would not recommend using this for any important phone lines. They do not have any phone support. It is only done through email and they do not respond. As a business, if this doesnt work it could really impact your business. Great idea but I would wait until this company further establishes itself.

Call quality

Call quality can be choppy on occasion but usually corrects with good signal or fast wifi, sending texts makes a weird click sound. Its a great alternative for a second number. Works great for tablets and computers

Very useful

Were snow birds for six months so our friends can reach us no matter where we are and its a local call for them. We transfer our number to Line2 and transfer it back when we get home. Yes it can be poor quality if the wifi isnt good but so can cell service.

Great support

I dont know what the other reviews are talking about, Support was great for me.

Great when it works

Lately its been down at least one a week for a day or so. They have a support department, but only send generic "we are aware of the problem and working on it" no ETA, no personalized service at all. At this point Im looking for other options.

What??

I dont like this app, people can never call me, I can only call them, and that does not work for me. So I tried to delete my account because I dont want to be charged $9.99 every month for no reason, but how, I cant find how to stop this I dont want this anymore what do I do, uggggghhh, its almost the second month and they will start charging me again, if there is no way to cancel this, it will be charging me like $10.00 every month, I want this to stop NOW!!

Fulfills its promise

Does exactly what its supposed to do. A few glitches here and there but otherwise makes life so much easier. Personal and business on the same phone, but kept separate.

Works very well.

Ive been using Line 2 for a couple of years now for business. The service is very reliable. Sound is clearer than my regular phone. I also use the Windows desktop app with a wireless headset and a toll-free number. Had some issues with Windows 10 but they have since resolved them. Customer service responds quickly to enquiries too.

Great app but lots of bugs

Update Aug 4, 2016 Need more message history and ability to search contact messaged previously. Update Feb. 1, 2016 Theres new bugs I discover everyday. But some major ones include, - Cant hear things after a few seconds into a call. This happens as often as 8 out of 10 calls. So I have to always tell people Ill call them back on a different number all the time. - if Im writing a text, and a call comes in, the keyboard is stuck on the screen and I can hang up or answer the call. - when phone rings, the volume is still too low and theres still no vibration. Fortunately I have Apple Watch and it notifies me. But this needs a fix. Please add features, - add more storage for older messages. I need old record for the business and I cant afford them to disappear - add search function the messages, so I can find contacts or messages in the message list ----------------- Update July 30. - Still waiting for fixes for below. - sometimes incoming call notification, neither iPhone or Apple watch vibrates - sometimes cant reply messages on Apple Watch or call back to the previous call. - add option for a louder ringtone or incorporate native ringtones Suggestions - add forward button to Apple Watch when incoming calls come in Please fix the following problems, - often miss calls not recorded - app sometimes freezes while incoming calls - incoming call ring tone volume too low and no vibration. (Good thing I have Apple Watch and get the notification there) - sometimes eve though I have full bar with my 3G/LTE network, the call connection status is showing only 1 bar. - sometimes new contacts in native Contacts added doesnt show up in the app contacts Suggestions - add option to manual forward call instead of forwarding after the rings Im using a i6 Plus

Ive used this service since when it was called Toktumi, at least 5 years and have been more than pleased with both, its flexibility and reliability. A cost effective life saver for any new business especially! If they had any form of telephone support or even live chat I would have given it 5 stars, thats the only element that lacks!
