HORRIBLE OFF LINE.. Delay and dont show miss calls

Miss calls are not showing ... When people call u it disconnects not worth paying the money if you are not doing fixes

Useful and competent

Ive used it as my second line for a few months very successfully. It is an app and you do have to get used to the fact it is has quirks. For me, its very helpful and economical.

Not satisfied

I dont like line 2 I cant even do what I wanna do with the number I have so I never even used line 2 I want to deactive the account now I dont want yall talking any money out of my account because I never even used it ! I keep emailing your online support team or whatever they never get back to me ! Yall need to step yall service up ASAP and deactive this account Im not happy about this whats so ever

So far its okay butttttttt

So far its okay buttttt it does have little things I personally dont like. 1. Poor phone calls - calls going out 2. Not so easy to get customer service 3. No billing notification or email receipt 4. Needs volume control on the incoming phone rings ============================================

deceptive packaging and labeling

I’m using the free version. When I dial a toll free number, it says, “The number you’re trying to call is not a Line2 number. Your plan allows calling with other Line2 customers and to toll free numbers.” The problem is that it does NOT allow me to call toll free numbers. It fails to complete the call, and then, non-reassuringly, tells me that I can do what in fact I cannot do, detailed above. Line2, I’m bailing out.

Needs Improvements

The app is Okay, Could be great. Lack on connection for peak hours, no options for different alerts calls vs. text. You cant ever close the app-otherwise you will get no alerts. Good but need major improvements.

Like it should

Line 2 works perfect with my cell sounds as well as the sprint does. Using with the iPhone 6 Plus.

Horrible

70% of the time the call never rings and only alerts you after you missed the call. Recent calls do not catch all the numbers that call you or you dial out. Customer support is worthless!! This is a phone line App yet you can only email customer service!!!! I am hundreds of dollars in on advertising with this phone number yet I am about to call it a loss since I am losing more money over missed calls with this horrible App.

Good but not quite there

Ive been using Line2 for a couple of years and it has improved over that time. I find it an invaluable addition to my business. I have an 888 number and my clients can reach me anywhere in the world for free, as long as I have an Internet connection. Still needs the ability to override incoming cell phone calls and to be able to choose ringers for individuals. Also, ringer cant be made loud enough for busy places. Still, I highly recommend it.

In principle its great!

The app in principle is great, but the integration between iPhone and the app is not very good. If the iPhone rings, it puts you on hold automatically and many times, it freezes there and you cannot hang up the call. The new ability to text pictures is awesome. Love that. They improve the reception significantly in the last upgrade. For some reason, the "closeness sensor" does not work. Many times you bring the phone up to your ear and the screen still on and active, so anything can happen from hanging up to putting the person on hold or speaker. Last but not least and this is new, when it rings in the app, I have it set up to forward the call to my iPhone (for better reception) and now it is ringing on my iPhone maybe once and it bounces back to Line2 voicemail when it is set in the system to ring 5 times prior to going back to voicemail. Like I said, in principle, they have a great product and in essence it gets the job done but it still has a lot of way to go before it is proven tech. I will continue to use it, it is indispensable for my business, I just wish it was more reliable and robust.

Great product

Use line2 for my business and not with picture option for texting!! Love it

Great for my small biz

Been using this app a few years. Handy to have separate business line on my phone. Plus I love texting from both iPhone and Mac.

Business owner

All the reviews on here are correct. Great concept but only works half the time.. Sometimes calls come through, sometimes they dont.. Sometimes numbers show up in the call log, sometimes they dont.. Its hit or miss and needs to get better. Had for 1.5 years and always been like this.

Almost VERY awesome

If you could receive pictures, video etc via text this would be 5 stars. Its been great to me. I love the call screening. Its helped stop phone scams. I dont give out my cell # to any business anymore, just my line2 # so I can screen calls.

5 Years +

Ive been a long time customer of line 2 it has definitely exceeded my expectations from start great service clean clear excellent service connection. The only Reason I have not given L2 the full 5 Stars

Great service

I own a business and did not want to carry two phones. Line 2 allows me to have a personal and business line and one phone. It is cheaper This way. The two lines share info: contacts, missed calls. I can even forward the business line to one of my employees when I go on vacation.

Great for calls & basic texts.

I got this app so I could get a local number while keeping the number Ive had for over 10 years. Im in real estate now & a local number is important. However, because Im in real estate, I often need to share contacts, send/receive photos, etc. this app just doesnt work for that - if they could figure out a way to fix that, it would be 5 stars, but without it, Im really considering canceling once my year is up.

Could be 5 Stars...

...if calls showed up in queue quicker. Sometimes, unanswered calls and vm messages show up hours later--or not at all. At times, calls do not ring through. In my (tour) business, that tends to result in lost revenues. Potential customers find something else to do. All in all, I would grade Line2 a B-. A functional mobile business line without the hassle of physically handling two phones. However, definitely room for improvements.

Line2 has come a long way...

Now that I am able to send IMG text messages I am much more satisfied. Some minor kinks to work out here and there. I love the Call Screening feature. Excellent app for small businesses.

Great Concept

In theory its great, in execution its lacking. App doesnt update when open to tell you missed calls unless a voicemail is left. VOIP is pretty useless without strong wifi. Really great as a forward or screen to deter marketers.
